Petrophysists/Logging Group are involved in Independent analysis of wells in blocks
under NELP,PRE NELP,Producing Field and nomination acreages with National Oil Companies.
The broad activities of the group are as follows:.
- Quality control checks and evaluation of well logs for estimation for Pay thickness,Porosity,
Saturation and Identification of fluid contacts to establish reservoir limit & properties
of fluid type.
- Suggest operators to record necessary / suitable modern high resolution log for
improvement of reservoir characterization.
- Evaluate production logs, pulsed neutron logs recorded in producing fields to monitor
the reservoir health.
- Estimation of Logging cost for unfinished work programme of operators.
- Provide necessary support to NELP Group to prepare data packages and relevant reports.
- Technical examination of all EC applications related to logging inputs.
